why do people get mad when i tell them common sense things?

well, no one's mad and they already know what you're telling them.

People get mad at me when I ask them to prove that the sky is actually the sky, or that the color blue is really blue. I let them know that the government was actually lying to them about it. No "evidence" can change my mind either.

Except you have no evidence that your government has your best interests at heart.
