You'll be excited to learn that science would not exist without religion, in fact the written word in its entirety would not exist without religion!

You'll also be excited to learn that literacy in Europe was saved by Irish Christian monks, whom you hold contempt for!

Science existed long before any religion my friend - or what do you think taming fire or making weapons was?

trial and error isn't science

what exactly were cavemen trying to disprove when they fastened a stone to a stick?

There we go. Trial and Error is EXACTLY what science is. To this day still.

no not according to me, according really to the entire laity of the Catholic Church over 1 billion people edit: raise that number to 2+ billion when you include the Eastern orthodoxy and protestant orthodoxy

ask yourself how anything is proven. It's through a manuscript detailing the proof. Same as the proof for any other scientific theory.

You can choose to not read Einstein's manuscripts, and yell at the sky saying that "relativity isn't proven, its just words in a book"!

god/religion ==/== science, thats another huge reach (Im noticing a pattern here....)

science is a method of inquiry which is centred on falsifying hypotheses

Are you good at noticing patterns?

If you are, you may have noticed that all the founding fathers of science were extremely devout religious people :)

That is true

Buddhism is also extremely similar to Christianity that's why the two cultures are able to work together so well

I am a bachelor of science in biological sciences since 2007, but thats not the point I am making here and I dont wanna support my arguments by any degree.

Trial and Error is a FUNDAMENTAL part of science. Every scientist is well aware of that.
