alright guy, we got it.
lets just say its fake for your sake...back on topic.
Why should an established holiday be taken off the calendar for a sport? Makes no sense.
The sport can always be played on a Saturday...also- why does the next day need to be off? the game isn't played that late- you know why? the country is overran by alcohol and that keeps the mass under the influence of the gov't. Much easier to control people under the influence. Creates tickets, jobs for cops, court, any city work- generates tons of money for a bunch of crap that is essentially unessential to humanity/living.
I stopped drinking this year- and it is insane how poorly people that drink handle themselves in the professional setting. These people are the "ugh its monday" "oh i cant wait for friday" people. What the hell do the days have to do with anything? think about it.
well - lets address this first:

I think whatever Columbus did wasn’t as bad as what Kaepernick did
do you know what Columbus did? and Im not talking about what you learned in 4th-grade social studies. do you really know what he did?
if you have a modicum of common sense, you wouldn't ever compare Kaepernick kneeling to a colonizer committing untold atrocities on a people that welcomed him and his crew with not only open arms but GIFTS!
native Americans swam out to the settlers' ships with gifts and were met with torture and genocide. personally, I don't really give a shit about the Superbowl or whether or not the day after should be a holiday but at this point, ANYTHING replacing Columbus day would be a-ok with me.
the fewer holidays we have that celebrate genocide, the better. can we agree on that?
