"it's a choice" is the narrative favoured by racists and history deniers.
"it's a direct consequence of america's racist history and policies" is the truth which is supported by countless historical facts, and thus favoured by anyone who has a clue or at least some shred of honesty.
is it possible to still break out of poverty? of course, and there are many examples of people who did it. are the odds overwhelmingly stacked against black people? yes, from underfunded schools, high crime neighbourhoods (created through redlining, discrimination, and racism, not through "culture" or "choice" btw), racial bias in policing and sentencing, generational wealth differences created through home ownership...
dismissing all that and pretending it's just every black person wants to become "a gangster rapper" is textbook racism. you haven't changed a bit, ampoo - why did you even create that multi?
nothing is stacked against anyone in that regard
alright, if you are a dude with one leg in yemen or so you are probably done
but there are ZERO excuses, if you are an able bodied person in the west
just apply yourself for fucks sake, there are so many shortages especially right now
a youtuber i follow constantly makes jokes about young people complaining and pulls up job offers
one i remember was for the railway in south dakota, 85k a year, 10k sign up bonus......what do you need? be 18 years old, high school diploma, be willing and able to work outside
but they somehow struggle to get guys
me talking about ghetto culture is not racist, successful black people who got out of the "communitah" will tell you the exact same thing about ghetto culture and broken families
you cant even tell me why foreign black people just walk in there and do better than natives......fucking victim narrative

somehow your fake racism is only a thing for african americans, but other brown/black people are outearning the "privileged" white class

you make zero sense buddy
