Florida bought it and gave it out

The number of their deads does not show such a brilliant success... And i suspect they bought just a few.

Not to mention all these private nursing homes (everywhere) who were hidding their covid case for a very long time to not lose their business...

Yur guys should remember: wash you hands and use a mask.

You made such a bullshit tirade that you forgot what would happen in case of ICU capacity overload/collapse. I'm not here to micro-manage that, please make the effort.

Medical capacity is yet another variable. But the medical system did not collapse, even in states which did not lock down. You're trying to justify very clear and obvious bads with nonexistent goods. Shutting down the economy and education system has long-lasting and long-reaching effects. People will suffer for generations as a result of that policy. We're already seeing it in the testing numbers, and economic growth speaks for itself.

Why were patients sent to nursing homes instead of these facilities? Actually don't answer, I don't know why I'm even talking to you.

Here's a good resource for you. Think a bit about political affiliation by age, and connect it to at-risk populations for covid. Does that make sense?

So was it Covid or Chauven that killed George Floyd. Or was it an overdose?

Enlighten me on how that works.

Democrats were massively more exposed because living in cities + voters are aged:
The median age among all registered voters increased from 44 in 1996 to 50 in 2019. It rose from 43 to 52 among Republican registered voters and from 45 to 49 among Democratic registered voters.

America's LEAST populated state is wyoming, with a population of 577,700.
They had 700 more deaths than australia's 24 MILLION people.

Why do american's keep attacking australia for saving thousands of lives?

lock downs are just training to live in a prison system

i always say. "when a leftie lie is exposed always keep a record of it because they will always come back to rework the same lie". its never ending with a leftie.

CDC updates death count again - Hospitals report deaths as COVID-19 when they're not.

what you say but not what the CDC info says how many times do i have to post the link??????????????

covid doesnt even have its own column

COVID-19 Mortality Overview
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/covid19/mortality-overview.htm

takes a while to load. maybe they want you to give up on it? where is the covid death only column?

any way after it gets loaded. then read it carefully.

seriously? goto and read the note at bottom, seriously...........WTF?
Most Frequently Listed Comorbidities with COVID-19 Deaths

note: there where co-morbities or other conditions listed on the death certificate for as many as 95%of all covid -19 deaths.(table 3 weekly). the other 5%of the death certificate in witch COVID-19 was the only condition listed was likely related to the lack of detail listed about other conditions present at the time of death.

Let them die so we can tally up those deaths.

These sick fucks have no leg to stand on. Period.

Let’s not forget the federal government overseeing regeneron distribution and taking it from the states where they responsibly treated Covid patients in the name of equity.

Sick fucking people.

Here is the federal government saying it doesn’t work and you can’t have them.

Disgusting. Barba is right we will never forget these sick fucking people.

Australia had several factors going in its favor that most other places, including Florida, did not enjoy:

- being a large island on which the virus can only be introduced via easily controlled gateways like airports or harbors
- the initial virus arrived in Australia quite late, with no widespread community spread by the time other countries had already proven the seriousness of the situation
- a very atomic settlement structure, with all major population centers being separated by hundreds of miles of uninhabitated wilderness; this made regional containment far more achievable

All these factors allowed Australia to pursue a 'zero covid' strategy which was outright impossible in the U.S. or Europe and skews Australia's death count. And even given all these natural advantages, the Australian covid strategy still lead to months-long, super-strict lockdowns. Australia has low covid deaths because they - unlike other first world nations - had the option to pursue an elimination instead of a mitigation strategy against the virus; and the actual implementation of their strategy still turned out to be a costly failure.

Also, the argument with regard to Florida is not so much that the intial lockdowns were unnecessary (we didn't know yet how infectious and deadly the virus actually is), nor that absolutely no mitigation measures like masks or capacity restrictions were needed between May 2020 and the arrival of vaccines in Spring 2021. No, what Florida actually proves is that further lockdowns, like the ones implemented in New York, California and much of Europe throughout the winter of 2020/21, were unnecessary; and that easing up on mitigation measures like masking and social distancing would have been possible a lot earlier.

Trump won the 75+ vote in 2020 by almost 20 points. Blue collar voters most at risk trended Trump. The states which suffered the highest death rates are also among the poorest (e.g. Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia), and correspondingly less healthy.
