Probably watching this and gratifying itself while slurping on escargots and oysters.
This is an award winning French movie.

The movie won a price at Sundance Film Festival by the way.

women and young ones don't fight wars

there needs to be a significant uprising of the male population for anything to change in Iran

Young men are doing most of the "violent" revolts, some of them have weapons.

Older men are participating into the "regular" protests. ATM the movement continues.

As far as I can tell, the protest movement has only managed to reach "critical mass" in the Kurdish regions of Iran, but barely failed to get to this point in the rest of the country. Unless something drastic happens in the coming days, the regime will imho be able to hang on once again. :(

It doesn't bother you that EU ammo manufacturers are selling shotgun ammo to the Iranian regime despite sanctions?

Of course it bothers me, I just don't see how that has anything to do with the rest of my assessment of the situation in Iran. What exactly is your point, other than the obvious realization that the EU is incompetent and/or corrupt?

That the protests are being smashed and the regime is using EU-made shotgun shells. This is on topic.

Juicy details: there are EU sanctions in place that prohibit the sale of all kinds of stuff the regime can use to crack down on protests.

Lets say this is extremely painful especially for the OP of this thread who pretends he stands above everyone else

Well, it's not like shotgun shells are super fancy high-technology, so I doubt that Iran would have been unable to quell these protests without European arms sales.

We're talking large volumes here, see the article I linked. Just buying the stuff is obviously not as complicated as setting up production themselves.

And although Iranian manufacturers are in fact producing shotgun ammo, they use EU components. Quote from the article I linked:

Quote
One hunter told FRANCE 24: “Our hunting and gun licences give us a quota of 100 cartridges that we can buy each year. For many years I used Shahin ammunition that had primer bases from European manufacturers such as Cheddite.” Another wrote on the forum in 2014/2016: “Hey friends, this year’s Shahin cartridges have ‘Cheddite’ written on the base and on the box it says ‘made in Italy!!!!!!” A photo posted in 2015 shows a Shahin box marked: “Components are from ITALY.”

I heard about some amunitions made in EU used in repression. It's more like fake news: the vast majority of shells are made in Iran. Which is logical since they are able to build advanced drones etc even very close to have Nuclear Bomb.

The majority of images submitted show shotgun shells. Of twelve cartridges recovered from protests, ten had transparent cartridge cases and the inscription "Maham *12*" on their metal base, indicating that they were 12-gauge cartridges manufactured by Shahid Shiroudi Military Industries, one of Iran's largest ammunition manufacturers.

On two other images of used cartridges examined by our editorial staff, we can see bases bearing the logo of Cheddite, a Franco-Italian manufacturer, and yellow or green casings. A cartridge with a green case, found in Yazd, bore the inscription "Shahin 2017 4", a mark of hunting ammunition manufactured by Shahid Shiroudi. Both Cheddite and Shahin cased shotgun cartridges are commonly used by Iranian hunters for downing game.

This said the manufacturer could be held responsible for this: It is required to control his sales channels, because this type of product has been under sanction by the European Union since 2011 and is prohibited for sale in Iran.

This is not the first time we see components or parts wrongly used: as a reminder engines made in Canada have been found in Iranian suicide drones.

Even a 12 years old kid from a depressed country could understand that it would be a very bad idea to sell stuff that will be later exposed by journalists to the whole world during crimes against humanity events... etc. ..
