My biggest issue with all of this is that there is no such thing as an accident when it comes to the discharge of a firearm, only negligence. I am forced to ask myself when reading all of this, what would happen if this happened all the way down to the normal people. People want to excuse this tragedy because it was an "accident" but the point is a life was needlessly lost and someone needs to be held responsible. In my eyes and most the time in the laws eyes it comes down to the person who was directly responsible for the death.
Well that's how creative assassinations play out. People getting framed for things they didn't intend. There are multiple parties involved here.
People are looking for someone's head in a typical villagers with pitchforks fashion even though the concerned parties all acknowledge it to be an accident and just want to move on with their lives and finish the movie, it's only the spectators who are out for blood.
I think this will be a reminder to the industry and possibly an add extra layer of precaution on already strict set of protocols. In an industry that fires millions and billions of gun shots every year with only like 5 deaths since Brandon Lee I think is some kind of a miracle.
Meanwhile people die every 30 mins because someone forgets to put a wet floor sign out no one blinks an eye.
High profile case let's blow it up and bitch about it because we too bored with covid and trans threads.
