It’s very disrespectful to flat out say it was an inside job though with no proof other than “this seems weird”.

He said he believed it was an inside job at one point and fake at another point. I used to listen to the guy daily. He definitely went way out of line.

As for the investigation. I think any legal issue should be investigated without being paraded around the media before the investigators have a conclusion.

But what if the investigators are given false information?
Or was told to hide or obscure facts?
You really can't see a need for any outsider investigation, A.J. or otherwise?

No. He’s not a professional. When it comes down to it he is a professional at 2 things Radio Host and Conspiracy Theorist. He has no certified background in investigation, forensic science or anything that would be useful for properly investigating a crime other than his ability to think outside the box. An ability that even people with Autism have and are in fact better than him at.

A professional outside investigator? Sure granted they have access to all the evidence (unlikely).

The major issue is law enforcement would NEVER release all evidence to an outside investigator because it could compromise things. Especially if the case is active and not cold or closed.

Do you trust your own investigation?

i don't trust anyone or any source of information.

i make opinions based on what i see and often times just based on the smell test. Jones has never passed the smell test. Frankly he's lucky that the first time he seriously got in trouble was with a bunch of angry parents, he easily could have instead offended any number of massively powerful people and just gotten "suicided".

I guess I can break this down lol.

1. Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character.

2. Sherlock used forensic science to solve cases.

3. Sherlock was wrong a lot in several stories.

4. Sherlock was used as an advisor for Scotland Yard a lot making him a professional in the views of those that mattered.

Entertaining but still fiction.
