You're shitting on monarchies and stating you're so glad you don't have that. And me pointing out that your country has had some really shitty leaders. If you need some copium call Brussels I heard they're importing tons of that stuff as we speak ;)

here's the problem, buddy: you might be correct in pointing out that germany had some incredibly shitty leaders, but the issue with that "argument" is that it's simply entirely irrelevant to my point or this topic in general. it's so dumb that i can't even see what you were hoping to achieve here, lol. did you seriously think i'd disagree with you, or were you just going for godwin points?

That's in line with what I heard in Australia and NZ when I was living there.

where did you stay in Australia? I stayed in Melbourne too.
She is a very nice and sweet old lady who in the public at least very kind to people.

But the scandals her sons and grand kids bring to the royal family is quite a shame.
She is a very dignified human being.

The problem for you is that you don't dictate who posts here or responds to YOUR shitty takes.

this isnt correct, im no expert on royal affairs but that's not how it works in the UK. for hundreds of years the UK monarchy has voluntarily returned profits for royal estates to the government, who in turn pays for a slew of things for the royals. there is a formal agreement, but its not the law that the King/Queen must do this.

stop paying for their expenses and they stop sending back the profits. which is a net gain for England and a net loss for the crown. this was a deal struck hundreds of years ago for the UK monarchy to keep their holdings and their lives, whilst other royals either were stripped of holdings or sent to the guillotine.

ive watched several breakdown videos, including one just posted by fender. the only win for anti-Crown people is if the holdings were entirely removed from the royals. thats the only way England comes out on top financially.

It's an issue of vocabulary. The crown is the state. The queen controls the state through the crown but isn't personally the state. It's all made up anyway. A fiction. Only exists because the people agree to it.

Still. Who cares? Monarchs are illegitimate by their nature and that includes any spoils.

Take everything. Nobody needs a queen. You can build tourism without a royal family. Literally everybody does it.

fender cries about monarchs as a representative, meanwhile we have a dipshit federal president, who is also not elected by the people (its just the parliament playing games and hand picked people they invite) and costs just as much as some royal ^_^

Victoria and NSW goldfields and in NZ the Westcoast and northern part of the South Island near Abel Tasman national park.

I don't care too much about the British royals but still think it's a nice tradition especially in todays day and age.

me pointing out that your reply was entirely irrelevant and laughably inept is NOT the same as me trying to tell or even force you not to post any more. you're obviously free to publicly display your embarrassing brain farts here as much as you wish. just don't expect not to be ridiculed, that's all...

I stayed in Melbourne Victoria during my university days, very very nice livable city. I want to go back in the next couple of years.
I hope they get another nice Queen or King after Charles.

not only is that laughably incorrect on the "facts", you're also forgetting the part where the UK still has an elected government in addition to their royal family. but hey, nice try bothsiding the issue in order to gobble more dead queen boot, lol.

the queen doesnt control the state through the crown.

there's a reason the brits were allowed to maintain the crown whilst others in europe didn't. your posts make it seem like you dont understand the situation.

im not pro-monarchy, nor do i like the british monarchy at all. my point is simply having it seems to be a net gain for the country, and losing it may be a net loss, if its even possible to get rid of them, which likely it's not. a motion to remove them today would be as likely as a US congressional bill to ban all guns, it wont happen.
