What fender is trying to say is that some religions actively engage in charity in giving billions upon billions in food, assistance, housing etc., to the poor promote peace and kindness, and give people a sense of social connection in a larger community, and only have occasional fringe lone wolves that engage in violence - and this is obviously a huge terrible thing for humanity, so I'm glad someone is pointing that out.

It's no different than the white trash who whine about "black lives matter" and then say, "actually, all lives matter." Given the history and current circumstances, black lives need to be singled out because they've effectively NOT mattered. Similarly, Islam needs to be singled out since they are a unique threat to liberal democracies. Obviously, religion in general is a threat to liberalism but that doesn't need to be said in a thread like this.
