It's like your country isn't man enough to get into an armed conflict with China so you will simply do little things to piss them off. You think you have made a point.

I said nothing about US, Taiwan, Japan wanting to have a psoperous future. So I don't know why you brought this up. You, on the other hand, did type the words to the effect that US should be dictating policy in East Asia. Why did you say this?

In this world, rules are dictated by the strong. China is strong, and China claims Taiwan. If you don't want the United States to dictate the order in East Asia, you are ensuring that China will, as it has already demonstrating both the desire and ability to do.

By your "logic", the US should be dictating the order throughout the entire planet.

This also smacks of being the world police, except that instead of having the pretense of trying to maintain order and justice, the US comes right out and admits she wants to become a dictator to all nations.

Perhaps, but we aren't talking about that. We're discussing a situation where the hegemon will either be the United States or China. There is no third option. Who do you want it to be?

If you want US to thwart China, then you have to be consistent and do that to every emerging world power.
