Being a Russia neighbour a country has to decide:
You either stick with NATO - a kind of republic, association of other small countries like yours who stick together for defense.
Or get eaten by a Russian empire.
There is no 3rd option. Ukraine tried a 3rd option as they wanted to stay friendly with Russia and didnt join NATO in the 90s.
Liberal NATO Republic or Evil Russian Empire, you choose it.
Not making a choice is choosing Russia.

The guy says, that Americans were negotiating with Russia about peace for Ukraine, and that it was betrayal as they shouldnt negotiate with Russians.
The same time you come and say: Russia/Nato are same shit so we shouldnt stick with NATO.
So make up your mind, as these are two opposite stances.
