Google Cuba Crisis. It was resolved when USSR decided that it wasn't a good idea to install their missiles on Cuba after all ;)

Your optimism is inspirational

In a couple decades when all of you purple haired obese bums have hit rock bottom those Russians will still be going strong and as defiant as ever, lol

do you have summa?

Hmm?

Have Finland and Sweden been part of the USSR, have they been like brothers to Russia and are they now selling out to the West after brazen Western interference (Euromaidan + Eu-Ukraine trade deal, overthrowing legitimate government of Ukraine, installing puppet regime and mentioning that Ukraine can become NATO member in the future)?

Are they home to the most important naval base of Russia like Sevastopol on Crimea which was being threatened to fall in NATO hands?

Do they have a substantial Russian speaking part of the population that wants nothing to do with the woke West?

I am no expert on Finland or Sweden but I think that the answer to those questions is a resounding "no" so Finland and Sweden are not part of this conflict and have nothing to fear from Russia.

I'm not if it doesn't pose a security risk by shitting on an opposite major power.

If it doesn't pose a security risk I've got nothing against it tbh

That's true. They can't touch me even if they wanted to. And I can concede even if that was not the case, I'd have little to fear from the US government. At least for now. If I was a couple decades older than I am (and was American), however, I most certainly would have been locked up by the US government as well as had my life pulled apart. Possibly even killed. And from my perspective the US is not all that far away from returning to such a state.

I also can see the US has locked up more people than Russia ever did. I have a few dozen American friends and not one of them has never seen a prison cell. Good hard working Americans locked up for no good reason, because American justice is as much a joke as Russian justice. It's a sad state of affairs when even North Korea looks good compared to the American justice system.

The fact is there are no heroes on the global political stage. Only villains. Russia is certainly a villain. But so is the US. Russia and the Russian people have no reason to trust America, only to fear it. This is a point of fact that is extremely pertinent to the actions of Russia in the last decade. Only by acknowledging the justifiable fears and working to mitigate them will there be peace. Demanding heads will only escalate until there are no heads left.
