yes correct the reaction from Jan 6th is strong.
too bad the bold never happened as you said and you continue to come down on CHAZ as you should as I do as well. And yes the SEA mayor reacted like a total idiot during the whole thing. Lost her re elect even though she elected not to run.. would of never got it.

I do remember when Pelosi said that police and federal agents enforcing the law against petrol-throwing, court-house bombing protesters were the moral equivalent of storm-troopers.

You're reading political propaganda. The title reads "RNC declares Jan 6th attack legitimate political discourse", but they haven't done that. They're criticizing Cheney and Kinzinger for participating in a politicized commission with an explicitly partisan purpose. "Legitimate political discourse" is in reference to the thousands of protesters who were there that day that did not trespass, riot, or assault police, but who are now being hounded by a political commission with extralegal powers. Their specific cause might have been uninformed, but thankfully we live in a country where your right to peacefully dissent isn't dependent on what I think.
