It's risky as hell for the police too. Odds of their own dying for dumb reasons is extremely high.

Similar to when Minneapolis cops were rolling around in unmarked vans shooting rubber at people. Many residents were fearing of gangs, outside groups coming in doing violence. Need to be able to identify our peace officers.

Sounds pretty delinquent to me.
