Personally I don't have the need to date 16 year olds as I prefer women of my age. However if I was 16 then having a gf also at 16 is acceptable in my eyes. But that's my personal preference. I don't go out of my way like an incel telling people what age gap is appropriate as long it's legal and mutually agreeable it's none of my business. Likewise I don't tolerate when someone dictates what pronouns I should use and I certainly don't tolerate people who think age of consent is semantics.

Try saying this non-controversial statement: paying child prostitutes for sex is morally wrong and people who do it should go to jail. Regardless of legality. There's a reason. The US prosecutes citizens who are child sex tourists presumtively travelling to countries where it's legal. Second of all the case will be fought over if gifts are considered prostitution and if convicted those consenting girls should be equally charged.
