Only FBI operatives Trump felt safe to fire were those that were caught for their disgraced actions, which served as "shield" against media propaganda (such as Comey LYING to Trump's face).

Anyone who sincerely believes that sexual abuse of children is unique to only one wing of political thought (and that is coincidentally the same wing you're opposed to), is a hack who has never engaged with trafficking survivors or abused children--and better yet, doesn't actually care about the children.

Because other administrations don't make being a yes-man a prerequisite to being considered. Trump actively fired people if they refused to take a loyalty pledge. That kind of thing is unheard of and absolutely not normal among administrations.

Yeah, and how did firing the highest ranking FBI member turn out for Trump? Although this particular firing was very justifiable on the merits of the case (a president Hillary would probably have fired him too, lol!), it still almost destroyed his presidency and had a long-term destabilizing and debilitating effect.

I am sure that no other administration in history tried to place loyalists throughout the federal bureaucracy and the intelligence community. Or tried to block delicate investigations. Mmmmkay.

How fucking stupid. He barely lost, appointed more judges than anybody else, and never faced any consequences. He barely lost his reelection and it can be blamed almost entirely on the pandemic for his slim loss. For fucks sake he survived two impeachment attempts handily. If anything the absolute lack of consequences for firing Comey gave him the absolute green light to keep going.



We've had this conversation before, and all you could muster was a vague gesturing to Trump's polling numbers dropping that were better explained by other events. and I imagine in a few months we'll have it again, and you offer just as much.
