Australian navy and army officers thinking by 2040 collapse is inevitable.
The IEEFA saying that we have already past 9 of the 15 tipping points that will start the spiral.
You have China building over 900 damns in the himalayas, where most of India fresh water comes from.
You have the looming war between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia over water.
But it's all fine, electric vehicles will save the day: electic vehicles make up less than 1% of the 1.5 billion vehicles on the road today. The most optimistic forecast for growth in the electric vehicle industry says that will increase to 11% in a decade, sounds great right? That same forecast says there will be 2 billion vehicles on the road.
So today we have 1.5 billion chugging fossil fuels, but in 10 years, it will be closer to 1.8 billion. That ain't gonna save us for shit.
