Not true.
The printing of money has been fuk'd since forever. Dunno why somebody hasn't pulled that plug long time ago

More power to you then. You can't really complain about higher gas prices then since alternatives are available to you.

I absolutely can when the past five years has proven without a doubt that the United States does not need to import oil and can actually be a net exporter of oil, while at the same time allowing it’s citizens to enjoy easily affordable gasoline and diesel.

One year ago on this issue alone we were right there. The US and Canada were experiencing growth because we had a president that finds it foolish to import something we are literally standing on.

Do farmers who raise livestock for a living purchase their meat at food lion?

I am not saying nobody can afford gas. I am absolutely saying it is one of many products that are becoming less affordable by terrible policies that aren’t designed to benefit the American people. We got a taste of what life is like when the US focuses on the US. As I have made very clear very clear, I am not the biggest fan of trump, but I am a huge fan of America first.

IMO, pushing fossil fuel alternatives IS putting America first. Adoption of EVs will permanently cripple the Mid East. You need to think in the long term.

I have trouble taking you seriously. Your motive is to cripple the economy of other nations instead of just letting it be and focusing on ourselves? That makes no sense.

You have to distinguish shortages prices rises and real inflation, but please note down that you are fucked in both cases.

People's spending has become a thoughtless keeping up with the Jonses mentality. Its been that way for the last 20-30 years but its only getting worse.

People financing depreciable assets that they have no business owning in the first place. Be it needed vehicles that could be substituted for a much smaller Japanese economy vehicle to people financing their furniture in their homes after they purchased a home in an area they can't afford.

There's a reckoning coming when 5 year renewals come up and all of as sudden people learn money isn't free, and their mortgage rates go from 1.4% to 3.5% (we used to think 3.5% was cheap). Big difference on million dollar homes which happens to be the average Toronto home price now, well close $902,500. Add on that young people in Canada are piling on historical amounts of credit card debt that is now 5x the median amount of credit card debt in Canada, and something's gotta give.

The system is broken and rigged, but it's the peoples fault.
Got it.

Within the confines of what we are working in, which is reality. Yes, people are poor at spending and planning and cause much of their own pain. Poverty line and below, well many of them just don't even have a shot now, good or bad spending habits.

In a utopia where housing wasn't unaffordable, good jobs weren't gated by unnecessary education requirements that load young people up with early debts and we didn't have media constantly attacking image and every little thing we do every day resulting in constant frivolous spending, sure it might be different. But that's not reality.
