Those countries don’t have 340 million people with 48 different variations of laws. Looking around is a very good step 1. Perspective is step 2.

Most of the world is a violent, drug infested mess. Having a small, homogeneous population is much easier to handle in any situation. You wouldn’t tell a substitute teacher with a classroom size of 20 to do exactly what a professor with 120 students does. But both are teachers! Both are in institutions. I know I know but it’s different.

We are dealing with criminal enterprises abusing an already sick population, and instead of killing and jailing the big timers, free crack pipes? Man that’ll show those cartels! We have a larger amount of bad people in a larger population where generally, things are nice. Our civility is what is allowing those with malice to thrive, shielded by idiots who think they are helping cuz now jimmy and Tina won’t have to suck off strangers to get high. I’m one of the people healthcare has failed. I’ve been bled broke, tossed dr to dr, so I know a bit about needing help and watching a bunch of asshole know it all’s claim to help, while I’m slowly dying. Yea, they need help. Real help. That starts with law and order to allow civilized society to thrive. Pimping out drug addicts to gangsters while pocketing all the funds is literally disgusting and it’s what’s happening.

Money needs to be re allocated to the treatment and fixing of addiction in people.
I have zero problems with putting people in jail for crimes committed, but chasing petty drug use with short staff cops and court rooms isn't going to solve this..
and crack pipes are not going to stop/or increase drug sales.

Hasn’t worked for over 10 years in Cali. Drug use, crime, and homelessness at all time highs. They tried it. Didn’t work. It’s a money laundering scheme. These people need help getting their life together. That’s skilled education, proper diet, discipline, a dose of reality. To feel like a human. When someone is digging a hole you don’t give ‘em water and root em on, you pull them out. If they truly don’t want out, you let ‘em fuck off and go about your life.

Hell check this out, couple real ideas.

1. Police and all public officials receive 3x jail time for convicted crimes. You wanna help society? Should be fine then. That’s accountability.

2. Exile. No more life sentences. Punishable by death. If you’re deemed a danger to society for the rest of your life, why are you here? No malice, just justice.

Drug addiction is a symptom of a broken society. It requires drug dealers, mules, money launderers, fraud, usually a ton of violence and murder cuz who ya gonna call, the police? Also joe Biden’s son is a crackhead that gets strippers pregnant and funnels money to/from China and Russia for The Big Guy.
