Weve been over this. The only reason they moved "radically left" economically is because they moved so radically right from the 90s until the mid 2010s.

A national healthcare system was on the table under JFK. The fact that it wasnt under Obama really demonstrates how far right they were even compared to democrats before either of us were born. Starting in the 80's both parties moved extremely far right in regards to economics, and it coincided with a massive increase in wealth disparity and a decoupling of standard of living from productive capacity.

They really haven't. I'd say a solid 95% of what you perceive as "moving left" by Democrats beyond what the whole country has done (gay marraige, etc.) is Republicans picking out boogeymen. Like CRT, a wholly fabricated issue by Republicans that is not taught outside of graduate programs that a large portion of the country, you included, completely fell for.

Trans issues are virtually non-existant among most Democrats. You don't see any serious attempt to pass legislation on the subject. We moved staunchly to the right on Immigration, and it's largely resulted in the accumulation of illegal immigrants, not prevention. The most common argument is "Oh you can't have mass immigration and a good welfare system" which is demonstrably false, since Europe allows people to move about via the EU and has a robust safety net, and we had stronger safety nets prior to the 80's and much less immigration restriction. By preventing immigration we've actually had accumulation. Usually people move in and out of the country in regular intervals, but when it's dangerous to come back they just stay here because they can't get back. It used to be accepted that this was the case, but right-wing propaganda on the subject convinced everybody to ignore that.



So.... the whole country has moved left on social issues, and the social issues that you care about in particular are almost entirely fabrications because Republicans need something to demonize to make up for the fact they are pushing policies that made the country demonstrably worse since the 80's.
