Actually I think questions like that arebiased and kind of useless in measuring the real support behind policy that inevitably costs money and may have other tradeoffs.
Regardless of how you position the poll, paid family leave is massively popular.
On the question if "if we should have it". the answer is always overwhelmingly yes among all groups.
When you poll specifically based on who should pay for it, most say federal government, some say employer, some say state government.
Actually in the polls I've seen just the "yes" and "federal government pays" group are a majority
