If you get killed while or after committing a crime where the criminal action lead to your death then death was the price you were willing to pay to commit said crime. I dont care what you stole. What give you any right to steal from someone? You didn't work to make that product. You didn't invest in said product. You didn't use your own money that you worked for to pay for that product. Guess what, someone else did. You think you're so entitled that you can steal things regardless of the price?
Thats why I say kill them all on site. Because of your attitude.
If it's not yours then don't take it. If you do take it then be willing to accept any and all consequences
