Sure, that's fine. But that doesn't mean you're getting a religious exemption. In addition, you can simply opt to have a weekly COVID test so there's still a choice.

The Bible tells you how to perform an abortion. Do you think that you should have a religious right to an abortion in Texas? I don't. There needs to be SOME institutional support for religious exemption because otherwise you could avoid secular law entirely.

And why should anyone get a weekly COVID test? Why should anyone give away their genetic material unwillingly? You act as though these things are perfectly reasonable, but why is that, exactly? I mean, are you offering just compensation for the time and genetic material provided?

LOLwut? The Bible tells you how to have an abortion? What, stepping in between two fighting men? Let's step back to reality. A medical abortion is a person going in and chopping the head and limbs off an unborn baby while it tries to run away, then scraping out all the excess bone matter, then using a suction device to get all the blood and brain matter and goop out. Where in any religious text does it outline this process?

Uh sending them all that shih beyond the first paragraph would probably make them call into question your judgment and status going forward, but the first part seems reasonable.

These people who are so worried about their sacred genetic material... do they not shed dead cells like the rest of us?

Why? Because it's a mandate, that's why. Your compensation is your ability to keep your job. IMO, that's a pretty fair trade and most people agree with me. If you don't like it, you'll just have to vote for someone else to replace it.

Yes, the Bible outlines chemically induced abortions in the Book of Numbers.

The fighting between two men passage says you pay a fine for a fetus, and death for the wife. I.e. the fetus is property, not life, since life for a life happens if you kill the woman.

Does that give you the right to require their live cells, or to inject potentially harmful things into their live cells against their wishes? Exactly who are you to claim that authority? Clearly not their god, they already have one of those.

Most of your arguments are bad. I'm going to repeat the best argument for the religious types who subscribe to the "Do not destroy the temple" theory:

"Honestly, you're all going about this wrong. If a religious person is in an at risk group, it's easier to make the argument that they're knowingly placing their temple at grave and potentially lethal risk by not taking the vaccine, as the gun has already been shot over the world, and the vaccine is the only armor that will keep them safe."

America does not have kings or emperors. We have legislatures that make laws. If it's not law, nobody is obligated to follow it. Nice try though. :)

Seems like United Airlines is happy to enforce this :)
I hope all you Bernie Sanders loving faggots get on your knees and thank these corporations.

All enforcement regulations stem from a particular law. The Executive branch is given pretty wide authority to come up with enforcement mechanisms of a particular law (wider than I'd like but that's another discussion).

Airlines have been hard up for qualified pilots and poaching off the military for a couple decades now. United is going to feel stupid as fuck if other airlines do not follow suit and opt to snag up those pilots. When it comes to high skilled positions just remember, everyone can flip burgers, not everyone can be a pilot.

Regarding enforcement, that's just lol. It all boils down to the police. If the police feel like enforcing a law, it'll be enforced. If they don't, it won't. Legality doesn't much matter. Rioters want to burn down a courthouse? Nah! It'll be fine! Person walking alone without a mask outside of businesses that might have people come into contact with them? LOCK THEM UP!

Oregon's funny as hell. In the Portland/Salem area, the outdoor mask mandate, for instance, is barely enforced at all outside city centers. Go to the rest of Oregon, and people are like, "What? What mandate?" and police simply refuse to enforce. If you look at the mandate on state employees, full exemption was provided to the police, because if you lose the majority of your enforcers, where's your teeth? Likewise on the federal side, why do you think they gave exemptions to the USPS?

It's a power test. Has nothing to do with viruses or health or safety. :)

I'm shitposting, not arguing. There's no point debating any topic if the crux is the existence of only one of 3000+ non-existent gods.

The corporations will be the ones enforcing it. All they care about is money and that's where the government can REALLY fuck people over. I agree that a law is only as good as its enforcement and if local authorities don't enforce it, the law doesn't really exist from a pragmatic perspective.
