It’s unfortunate how commonplace this type of behavior probably is
D3 still & will always suck for a myriad of reasons
I’m still buying / playing D2R with the boys & using locker-room vernacular to describe all the noobs we kill
We should get a pard squad together
The problem is that it almost always starts off as consensual joking and not a big deal, but somebody always goes too far and makes it weird. I see this all of the time - even in my office.
We have this beautiful Columbian woman who works our front desk and she is constantly toying with everybody - scratching our necks and thumbing our headphones out of our ears, little flirty things that seem inappropriate but don't really mean anything. She's also a heavy drinker and gets wild at office parties - she once called me a cock sucker in front of everyone for trying to leave early and play d2 instead.
The point is, she's married to a super successful dude who is quite handsome and probably gives her the hammer in bed every night - so her flirting means nothing. And that's what one guy learned the hard way when he took it too seriously, following up with an obsession over her that led to him getting fired. People just don't know how to read the room or often read too deep into playful gestures that aren't actually meant to be sexual or in any way engaging beyond fucking with you.
