I agree that people shouldn't be cancelled for the past since society 10+ years ago didn't have the same social understanding as we do today. In that case , admittedly, cancel culture has gone to the extreme end. However, someone like you who adheres to the same pattern of racist behavior on a daily basis for at least 5 years should definitely be cancelled. Dave Chapelle needs to find new material then and acclimate himself to the new norm or deal with the consequences.

I think so. Keep in mind that we're not discussing the morality of either of the two, just the impact. You can't deny that Floyd's death created a massive national movement as well as backlash. Policing throughout the country is changing as we speak in response to his death.

You won't go to jail and have a criminal record if you say bleep in America. If your current or future employer deems it awful, then you have yourself to blame for being an asshole. I would not describe Rosa Parks as a role model. She was likely a member of the Communist party. But like I said, I don't think we need to discuss the morality of their character. The fact of the matter is that BOTH of them changed America quite a lot through their experiences.
