there is a logical argument against this involving infinity you're just not making it.

if infinity washes away all suffering from earth then why do acts on earth decide where you go in the binary of infinity?

i can argue with myself if you're feeling lazy bud.

appreciate deez nutz

I would rather debate the eternal recurrence, as it is a meaningful thought experiment. You can debate my friend, deez.

I don't want to talk about earthly suffering until I am at least off my dementia unit for the day.

"ill give u good stuff later" is a really bad characterization of infinity.

also any amount of pain is NOT a contradiction, mathematically. .9(repeating) = 1 mathematically.

Only at infinity, which you can never reach. After a trillion trillion years in heaven you will never be there for infinity.

this is basically saying .9 repeating doesnt exist, and it doesnt, on earth. heaven isnt earth. we're talking creator space magic, theoretical math applies not finite numbers.

in what sense? that god can't be loving and send people to hell?

that's a solid argument, but as a counter does the parent of a drug abusing child who shuns them and bans them from their household not love their child? im not sure how that comparison works out in infinity, but im also not stuck on the idea that hell is without redemption. or that afterlife is a binary, purgatory has always appealed to me.

Mortal beings trying to discuss things that lie beyond three dimensional space time is like trying to explain lesbianism to a house cat.

That’s a bunch of schizophrenic nonsense.

I actually have a schizophrenic friend who believes he truly is Jesus.

You've spent the last few posts arguing under the assumption that bad things contradict a good God unless there's an infinite amount of good consequence to bring the balance in favor of good. I still don't agree with this, since if it cancels depends how you set up the equation.

An all good God is not compatible with an infinite punishment. The analogy to the parent fails because the parent isn't perfect.
