Pretty sure Trump said something along the lines of "We're going to march down to the Capitol and peacefully protest." Maybe Rudy or his kids used "violent" rhetoric, but that can be dismissed and assumed not to be taken literally. The case to blame the President for the righteous Capitol protest just isn't very strong and would fall to pieces under scrutiny.
The motive behind it is dubious. So he can't reap the relatively meager benefits or run for office again? It says a lot about how confident the lying press, the left, and the establishment are when they smeared this guy for half a decade and they still fear his popular appeal. And if the election was so historic and a resounding rejection of Trumpism, why fear him as a political player down the road? Their best case scenario, this aspect is played to score points among a leftist base.
In reality, this is just a humiliation ritual and demoralization ploy. They want to leave Trump in rags and destitute for what he did to the establishment. The Democrats want this for obvious reasons.. Cuckservatives want to burn Trump for showing up out of nowhere and winning the GOP base with his brand of right-wing politics more effectively than the Romney/Ryan/Mitch crowd ever could. I've said it a million times, but it's revealing that Trump's two biggest detractors were the two duds the GOP establishment thought best to pit against Obama.
The impeachment, the 25k national guard at the inauguration, the arrest of the participants in the Capitol protest. This is all just to intimidate opposition. They're saying you are powerless. Your leader will be tried as a criminal. Resist us, we'll have the military kill you. It's heavy psychological warfare. Atomic blackpills. Not sure it'll produce the result they want. Demoralized factions can more easily justify violent action.
