He intended to feed false information to a news org in hopes of exposing it later as false to undermine the many credible allegations against roy moore

Getting caught and being unable to execute doesn't exhonerate him of his disceptive work and plain evil ambitions

James OKeefe helped give WaPo credibility on the story against Roy Moore. Im not sure how you are painting this as a bad thing
