I imagine myself as superior (from a health standpoint) because I am a board certified internal medicine physician with an additional fellowship and board certifications in critical care ... therefore when I am refuting Trump/hannity memes with education akin to high school graduate then yes I have more objective ground to stand on. My degenerate HS drop out sister in law SHOULD NOT have the same weight as mine in THIS specific topic.

Just as I should have NO WEIGHT in deciding Nuclear energy policy when speaking about this topic with a phd physicist, despite what my “beliefs” are or how many YouTube videos I have watched

This has less to do with “blindly trusting government as arbiters or blah blah”

The accurate argument is having an equally educated person come up with counterviews and have a rational conversation. This is not akin to the average Americans view. Yes the average American can “believe” whatever they want to. Policy deciding is for adults

Can I do a routine physical with you?

You've diverted from the points in question by fellating yourself.

No one is claiming your paste eating sister should be dictating policy or that people with a degree can't be knowledgeable and correct.
Your sister and flat earthers are not the pinnacle of people without a degree in medicine.
A degree in medicine or being selected by government is not required to have important, good or correct positions and knowledge relating to 'public health' policies, contrary to your previous posts.

Blindly trusting the government and writing off anyone else is about as anti-intellectual and anti-science as it gets.

You are the man with the snowball in congress, but with a massive superiority complex. The unjustified arrogance of modern leftists.

Well there is that one video of them wheeling in a "wagon full of votes" later proven to be equipment for a news crew.

Except once again he is right and you are wrong.
Not going to read your angry childish retort so save it.

Then there's that one showing someone stuffing ballots into boxes that came from russia 2 years ago.

You've already exposed yourself as an emotional anti-thinking activist. You were just scolded and spanked for falsely pretending im a fascist and "always wrong" while refusing to make anything resembling an intelligent argument or citing even one example that backed up your claims.

'he is right you are wrong' is not an argument. its childish.

Stop rambling so hard lol

I don’t have a superiority complex and acknowledge my own knowledge deficits on multiple different areas. Be specific to your point, how should policy makers be decided? Don’t be vague

You are a science denier calling me "anti thinking" as i said, nothing you say has any credibility.
You are quite often wrong but my criticism was you never admit it when you are, and you have yet to prove me wrong.

you want me to list all the bad stuff?

let’s give it a short go:

1. Police brutality
2. High sentences for minor offenses
3. Way too low minimum wages
4. No real security net if you lose your job ( and almost none existing healthcare)
5. Mass shootings every year
6. Very laid back gunlaws
7. Segregation ended only 50+ years ago but discrimination is happening on a daily basis
8. Private correctional system (which have been proved to be shit, crooked judges etc.)
9. Been at war for more than 80% of the time since its establishment
10. Too many homeless people but military budget is being expanded every year.

Just a quick 10 :D

None of those are true except private prisons and minimum wage. Trump is the first president to not start a new war. And having a minimum wage at all hurts people. Why do you think teenage unemployment is so high?

Homeless people only exist to a large degree in Democrat cities. And the reason why they exist at all is because a Democratic supreme court made Asylums essentially illegal.

The goal posts have moved dramatically.
How policy makers should be decided is not the issue.

I contested the assertion that democrats are superior and the party of science compared to the supposedly anti-science republicans.
I talked about their anti-science "CONSENSUS!" shouting strategy designed to shut down debate and thinking.
Democrats seeking to shut down and dismiss any debate and skepticism is not particularly pro-science.

I also contested the idea that people without a medical degree should be written off as 2nd grade flat earthers with no grounds for questioning people with a degree or those appointed by government.

It should be obvious that government does not have a monopoly on the truth, knowledge and science.
