https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/521989-graham-wants-to-review-actblues-source-of-small-dollar-contributionsGraham plans to hold a review of democrat's fundraising this year, but it won't be anything before the election.
Its pretty obvious that ActBlue has been using a coordinated and sophisticated method of laundering political donation money through fake small donors in order to circumvent the campaign donation reporting rules
$1.5 billion was donated in "small-dollar contributions" in this quarter alone, which is ludicrously lopsided compared to all previous races, and doesn't match donor trends
and its being poured into local races as well as Joe Biden's campaign
since donations under $200 don't have to be reported, all it takes is for an organization to distribute money into prepaid credit cards of $199 each and use those to donate to the campaigns
It means the source of the money is completely opaque. It could be all from George Soros's coffers, it could be pooled up large donors that get laundered into small donors, it could be foreign money
ActBlue lists all those inordinate amount of donations under $200, but doesn't list the name or address as they're required to do above $200.
