Even if every member of the BLM movement came out and said they were Marxist, they can organize marches around issues that are not Marxist, and I'd imagine if you asked the average person at the rally if this was a rally based on Marxist teachings you would get a weird look.
There have been people chanting marxist slogans and people wearing communist flags, and marxist graffiti left behind
But if you're going to set the bar at whether its technically centered on marxist ideology or beliefs held by each member, I have to ask if you apply that same standard to the marchers at Charlottesville, a rally based on protecting a statue
