Venezuela's economy is mostly privatized and there's a massive stratification between the haves and have nots. Their government leaders and capitalists swim in oil wealth.

Oh wait... that sounds like the United States.

I guess the real reason the USA hates Venezuela is that our capitalists don't like competition.

By all metrics, Venezuela did better under Chavez than any previous government. It isn't surprising that there are still a vast amount of Chavistas in the country who remember that the Bolivarian revolution made their lives better. At the same time, it also isn't surprising that a nation with vast oil wealth is run by someone who tries to maintain legitimacy with the Chavistas while himself swimming in personal and familial wealth based on oil connections. It's no different from poor white trash in the United States thinking a billionaire shitting into a golden toilet is their advocate.

You know you still did not address my original points in my post.
You just said "Trump has funds in china". Without addressing that there is an overwhelming majority of left wing news sources owned by billionaires, who undoubtedly have ulterior motives with their media.

And yes Venezuela is a socialist country. As was Cuba. Soviet Union. African countries. There's very large lists of failed socialist countries and countries that transitioned into Communism. It's pretty easy to Google them.
