Black Lives Matter has another 'unarmed black man jogging' story to rally around in Atlanta

Police were called to a Wendy's a on a DUI call last night. Police attempted to arrest a clearly intoxicated black male driver. Twitter video shows him fighting with them, grappling and throwing them as they attempt to taser them and landing a few punches in their faces, reaching for their belts with his free hands before managing to get a hand on a taser and grab it from one officer. He takes off running past the cameraman holding the stolen taser as officers chase him, a second later they're offscreen and more shouting and then gunshots. Black man taken to surgery and in ICU. Immediately a crowd of black locals started protesting, and were soon joined by white BLM supporters who drove there. Despite the guy clearly being on video with a stolen taser and no description of wounds and listed as still alive, media coverage immediately labeled it "unarmed black man shot in back and killed", which I'm pretty sure is wrong on all 3 counts

Hard to believe some of this reporting. A man chased while being called nigger and hit by a truck multiple times until cornered and shot was "a burglar who attacked a lawful neighborhood watch" per these reports.

The pro-authoritarian policing guys have been crying wolf so long its hard to tell when cops are doing their job well. They are like the Catholic Church and their underground railroad for pedophiles lol.

Yes as we all know every time one of these BLM cause celebre cases pops up, the facts are always embellished to cast the police in a better light by the media, with unconfirmed rumors and fake details added to make the cops look innocent
Happens every time. It usually takes days, weeks or months until we learn the truth and find out an innocent black man got gunned down in cold blood while doing nothing wrong, when initial reports claim he was armed and shooting at cops while screaming 'allahu akbhar'

You don't have to compare it to medical errors. You just have to read all of the information and look at the datato understand what people are proposing is a lie and full of a misleading false narrative.

But yep, people believing the media time after time after time again before all the facts are released or without actually evaluating the case.

People learned nothing from Covington, Ferguson, Alton Sterling, Russiagate, etc. etc.

They just keep believing everything they hear at face value.

It's made me lose faith in people as being independent people with their own thoughts instead of just regurgitating information.

People that think with emotions, versus objective thinking are the Media's favorite people. Just keep lining their pockets with that sweet sweet cash. Emotions sell news stories.
