My hope is Netanyahu will be replaced and US will gradually reduce levels of financial and military aid to Israeli. I'm not up to speed on the viable alternatives within their election system right now though, so perhaps the replacement effect would be nill. Right now, there is almost no incentive for Israel to bend in negotiating, they have leverage like a master over his dog. Aid reduction would level the playing field, achieve more Israeli sovereignty, and incentivize Israeli to negotiate.

When they illegally seized those aid ships, the commandos murdered 9 people who came at them with 'metal bars and sticks'. Wish my tax $ wasn't subsidizing that kind of evil and hate.

Selectively choosing cases that fit your agenda is hardly an evidence of anything. Injustices were made by both sides.

It is relevant to understanding the context of attempting negotiations, yes selective as this is a forum hence I'm not going to spoon feed you the last 15 years of non-proportional injustices. If I had an agenda, it's ill planned lol. Just hoping this gets some younger folks investigating the conflict more. I have a hard time with 'injustices by both sides' assertion. I agree generally, but it's been very one sided in terms of body count, property, financial, human rights, and disregard for international 'law'. Cyclical injustice however not proportionate.

My point is that it’s not black and white.
For example, the Gaza flotilla existed just to spite Israel for its blockage over Gaza Strip. And if there is a blockage, why go and try to illegally break it ? I mean, you do realize that every day Gaza get humanitarian aid..
note I’m not discussing wether the blockage is justified or not.
Address the matter and leave out the background noises. This plan is nothing new.. it’s already been offered during Rabin’s regime.
IMO it’ll fail coz the Palestinians aren’t interested in having their own country. They are interested in having their own country ON THE EXPENSE of the Israeli one.
