Know how much violent crime you have in Australia, per capita compared to the US?? I do.

Either you care about innocent people or you don't. It's cute you want to focus on guns because of course you just want people to be neutered like you are but I'll pass, thanks and the next time some nutjob tries something around me I can use that freedom to put 2 in between his ears like is rightfully deserved.

Yes, this is per capita.

No it is not. Unless you are either purposely omitting many crimes or counting suicides as murder.

Our rate is .80 yours is 6.6 ...

You have much less crime hotspots than the US though. Leave out the 8 or so American cities with the highest murder rates, which amounts to less than 5% of the country's overall population, and you get a much different picture.

And if we remove sydney and melbourne that .80 becomes a third of that.
