I don't understand why people would actually care about this. Jim Acosta is generally disruptive at these briefings. He goes off the rails just to make a headline and have his name plastered on websites/news coverage so people swoon over him.

oh for sure. the leftist media is trying to fight fire with fire. the right has been more biased in it's news media for a while, with figures like Papa Bear O'Reilly and Tucker. Trump emerging exacerbates it, so they elevate people willing to sling mud. That press conference was a mess, and Trump ended up looking worse to me. Acosta is a biased hack, Trumps the potus. He needs to learn to laugh and ignore rather than engage and entrench. him bringing up reverse racism, while somewhat factual, in response to a "white nationalist" question makes him look like an idiot. that's like someone saying you eat too many cookies and you responding "you're fat shaming".

I think both Trump and JimmyBoy come out the same after this exchange. Trump gets to rile up his supports by putting James on blast and ridding him from these conferences. Jimbo gets to do the talk show circuit and masturbate to the thought of himself being crucified backstage before going on to talk to Colbert, Chris Matthews, and everyone else on the left.

i think the purple state results in the midterms would suggest Trump isn't getting what he wants (in 2020) from "being trump". I think the leftist media strategy of spotlighting and poking the bear is having an electoral effect on suburban districts that could hurt trump. if not in his own election in the senate/house in 2020. I think he has a win locked up but may have an entire lame duck 2nd term, RBG might even be able to RIP in peace if they take senate.

agreed, and i had a similar thought during the Shapiro show yesterday. Shapiro mentioned that on some level the midterms were a referendum on Trump, then seamlessly wen't into predictions for 2020, as if Trump won't got through 10+ electoral support pendulum swings in that time.
