Yikes! I feel like we are in a real pickle here. The officer clearly felt that her life was in danger because if you look at the victim, they definitely look like they are up to no good. What would have happened if she went into the right house and then the victim came over and ambushed her? She had no backup and it could have gone really really wrong so it's better to be safe than sorry.

Unfortunately, your blame is misplaced here. The real culprit is the construction company who built apartments with layouts so similar to one another that they could be mistaken.
