I don't see the NYT putting this out unless the person is relatively high up. Maybe it's not a name we all know, but it's a high-level political appointee. The name will probably come out relatively soon... so it would be embarrassing to the NYT if it's some low level staffer without access to cabinet/west-wing officials. This anonymous person should resign in a timely manner... sticking around to mitigate the damage is bullshit unless your name is Jim Mattis.
