does seem that this is now an attempt to pivot for wall funding, per the sessions statement. which seems in poor taste at the very least. seems like fuel for midterms tbh, blaming policies the regime is putting up on democrats unwillingness to fun the wall carte blanche. which btw most republicans in the congress don't seem interested in trying to budget for either.

the fake news, historic revisionism, hyperbole, and tinfoil on both sides is abound. add to that the right using this as a tool to get wall funding the same way democrats use pictures of dead kids to try and get gun control measures through.

the is almost no one "waiting for the facts", and half of the reposted articles i've seen on social media from both sides are either clickbaity titles or just links to downright lying. from both sides.

a single "gotcha" moment the right has of a fake news photograph doesn't undo general misdeeds. although i'm sure you'll latch on to that to confirm your biases as long as you can.
