All I think I'm really seeing here is that Nunes is wiping away some of the common deflections and defenses that democrats have employed over the past year
they went with narratives about the Steele dossier just being one element of many in seeking the FISA warrant/renewal or that the FBI might have verified it or that it was assembled without bias or that FBI didn't know about bias or corroborated with other sources.

This memo establishes that the Steele dossier was the only meaningful piece of evidence in seeking the FISA warrant/renewals, that the FBI covered up its single-source unverified status and partisan political origins, and knew that Steele was an unreliable partisan.

On its own, that doesn't really establish much we didn't already 'know', but it does wipe away the excuses that the democrats, media and FBI have been using to soften the scandal.
Is my analysis about right? Its not a damning set of info on its own, but it strips away the bullshit

seems about right

lmfao

that sticks out as the juiciest bit even if its not the most damning in the long run, just because its so ridiculous and establishes something at least plainly wrong.
But it also appears to be missing a critical detail of whether the FBI actually knew the yahoo news 'corroboration' was sourced to Steele. It leaves open a hole that they could claim that Steele went behind their backs, that even though the memo establishes Fusion GPS knew about it, it doesn't necessarily mean the FBI did. Of course, given the Ohr connection, that's a tough sell. It just says that Steele lied and concealed that point, thus insulating the FBI's independent corroboration as being in 'good faith', which for legal purposes gives it the same weight as if it was corroborated. However, that only applies to anything before October 30th.

i missed the whole bit on how the release of that memo was a threat to national security or some such bullshit.

Looks to be a sad excuse by (D) to try and hide information from the public

I was expecting something remotely juicy, but thismemo is a giant nothingburger.

That Trump & co. would pay such a high cost to release this memo makes no sense, and reduces my already minimalist evaluation of him and his cabinet’s abilities to govern.

If you measure costs in units of 'Ree', the cost was extremely high
