Both candidates were terrible. Doug Jones savagely supports murdering babies even during birth.

this forces some short-term hands: Franken probably has to follow through with his ‘resignation’. More calls for drumpf to resign impeach void the election etc

intermediate term this may make any senate-level confirms more tricky
