As long as you're into poor philosophy, Ayn Rand might have something to offer. She thought she was logical as well. But she is misusing the word, like it is being used here.

Because Hayek wasn't using the associative or communicative properties with his theory. I bet he didn't know what DeMorgan's rule is. Most people who throw that word around doesn't know what it means and they are saying it instead of saying it's their feelings, which is more accurate. Hayek emotionally resonates with you, and that's ok.

im not too fond of ayn rand tbh, but lets not pretend she didnt write about something very logical that is commonly misunderstood or unknown to people of your religious/sexual orientation. (statism)

e/ in particular the notion that people acting in their self interest can serve to benefit others more efficiently through capitalism than your centrally planned economies and SJW feelings-based policies.
