looks like roy moore was part of a group that authored books on how women ought to know their place and avoid going to college or pursuing careers
funny enough that group got shutdown because one of his colleagues resigned after admitting to to a relationship with a 15 year old while he was married

wonder how many other kids were abused by this group of child fuckers :o ?

Vision Forum closed in 2013 after Phillips resigned, having admitted to a “lengthy” and “inappropriately romantic and affectionate” relationship with a woman who was not his wife. Shortly thereafter, that woman, Lourdes Torres-Manteufel, sued Phillips and Vision Forum, detailing an emotionally, psychologically, and sexually abusive relationship that started when she was just 15 years old.

He never got the chance to do anything with the 1st one, so he wouldn't have had to get married.

Only if you have "got the chance to do anything" vs "sexual assault" dyslexia.

Why Alabamians Should Vote For Roy Moore
I have a 14-year-old daughter. If I caught Roy Moore doing what was alleged, for starters I would kick him where it counts. That said, I don’t think it’s wrong to vote for Moore.
I am going to argue for the very unpopular, even shocking, view that, even if Roy Moore did what he is accused of doing, Alabamans are within their rights to vote for him, and they shouldn’t let Democrats and Never Trumpers shame them into not voting.

the funny thing is if Moore stepped down initially they wouldn't have a choice between Moore and a Dem it would have been another candidate. Maybe they're banking on him getting the seat but being removed before he sits down.

statements like that though are pretty fucking vile partisan politics.

One of the ministers who serves a Theodore church where Roy Moore spoke Wednesday night was federally convicted of trying to block an investigation involving claims his son molested children in Honduras.

Rev. Bill Atkinson led the music portion of the Moore event at the Magnolia Springs Baptist Church, where the U.S. Senate candidate spoke for over 20 minutes and was interrupted twice by people in the audience.

In 2012, Atkinson was found guilty of obstruction and conspiracy for ordering two of his children to destroy a hard drive of a digital video recorder, which held evidence that incriminated his son for child molestation. At the time, William James "Will" Atkinson IV was in a Honduras jail awaiting trial on charges that he molested children at an orphanage the Atkinson family owned. Those allegations came to light when his younger brother, Jonathan Atkinson, set up a secret surveillance system in Will's office after some of the children said they had been touched inappropriately.

the deeply religious tend to be over protective and try to circumvent the law in these cases from what i've seen. The old "pray to get forgiveness, jail won't do anything for you" attitude. Look at the Duggers, one of their kids molested his sisters and they covered for him then shipped him off to sex rehab for optics. I think Christians respect the law less than atheists in many cases like these.
