see, thats the issue: you and fellow lefties consider calling out things how they are "bigotry". a significant percentage of muslims hold views which are without a doubt unacceptable and make integration into our western societies impossible.
how big this share of intolerant fundamentalists among the entirety of muslims really is, is up for discussion. but even if it's just 5 or 10%, thats still a huge issue which wont go away by ignoring it and singing the Internationale.

I did give an opinion there, and you assuming I didn't is ironically what you'd call GC worthy. I just posted that I find these sorts of reactions that I see everywhere to be memey and full of poop.
If you want my opinion on this terrorist attack, it is just another terror attack. There are bad people on both sides. But I do think that the west and the east don't get along and that we should be in our own places. If they come here to cause havoc, why can't we do the same there? Well, at least our crazies, right?

That is spoken from an eye for an eye perspective, and when it comes to violence I don't think there is any other proper reaction, beyond moral self indulgence.

You can't claim simple theology in this case though, and it is a job for both theologist and anthropologists. Their religion is so integrated into their norms and their norms are so integrated into their interpretation of their theology that they are one and the same.
