You're going to have to do your own homework. I can recommend some basic resources, but the field of intelligence testing is pretty large, so I can't really hold your hand through it.

There are different theories on IQ, where different skills/subjects have different levels of IQ, such as interpersonal skills, understanding language, hand-eye coordination etc. Theres like 16 of these or w/e. But for the most part, a "National IQ" is going to follow a normal distribution. And if that distribiution is shifted to the left, you're going to end up with lower IQ population regardless! You can split hairs all you want about different theories or whatever, but the data we HAVE paints a picture that we all already know to be true.

Just don't fucking say it. Don't even think about race in any other terms than we are all equal. Don't fucking do it.

The fact is that IQ is a pretty useless comparison unless the education level, income level, and about ten other factors are all held largely constant.

Even then it's not predictive on its own because different cultures value different facets of IQ differently.

tric is correct though. Jews and Asians are significantly smarter than their Caucasian counterparts. Blacks are significantly more athletic than their white counterparts. Hispanics are typically considered better looking than every other race in the world. It's okay to acknowledge differences as long as you're not a dick about it.

The issue is that what constitutes "smart" is heavily dependent on the society, and that facet of IQ isn't something you can operationalize and put on a test.

Asians are "smart" in the western sense, but if we are going to say that we are ignoring that they are "dumb" at relationships.

However some societies see how you maintain and build relationships as also being "smart".


When you talk about "smart" and "intelligent" you're using loaded terminology, and it's still a very weak predictor of success. If you're too "smart" you're far more likely to be unsuccessful.



There's a dozen reasons why citing intelligence as the reason why certain races behave differently in the same society isn't valid, which is what this conversation was started with.





That's one major gripe, the other is that "intelligence" doesn't necessarily correlate with success because success itself is highly personal and loosely defined.

There are many better predictors of violence and crime, such as educational attainment of the parents and overall income level. Surprise surprise, these also influence how well you do on IQ tests.

/e also there are different types of IQ which cover the things you mention such as spacial reasoning, linguistic intelligence, and others. Asians typically score high on spacial reasoning while ashkenazi jews on the linguistic.
