is it? The democrats are struggling with the most ridiculous person and administration we will probably ever see in our lifetimes. I've seen no evidence of them learning or growing from the defeat. Not at the top and not at the bottom.

The Democrats have the benefit of a leftier than ever country and they run against an 80s cartoon villain and not only fuck up once but continue to fuck up every day with their smug anti-this anti-that attitude

I'm not so sure their day is coming any time soon. I wouldn't be surprised with we get 8 of Trump and another 4-8 of a moderate Republican or heaven forbid one of those fucking Trump kids

this is all fear mongering. the greatest threat to the US is sugar, fat, guns, botulism, etc. all greater risks to the loss of human life.

if this was voyaging's general statement, that gun violence among other things (such as bad foods), pose a much larger number of deaths, than he was correct and that statement shouldn't be compared to his most famous "i'm so sick" quote. People just look past the actual body count because "ISIS goal is to wipe us out", whereas my goal to tongue punch Kate Upton is never taken too seriously.

I mean, we have about 5,000 people killed per year just by food poisoning, let alone those killed by cardiac arrest from a poor diet or lung/mouth cancer from tobacco products. the only reason to take ISIS's pledge to wipe out the US seriously is a heavy dose of illogical fear, they're nothing but a fly to a horse.



it's not hard for an honest person looking to pragmatically identify risks to life rather than risks to pride or a sense of safety.

depends on your definition and what the "threat" is aimed at specifically.

A threat to human lives? meh, might cause a few scuffles at rallies and or anecdotal "I killed my neighbor for that damn Trump sign" duffington post news stories.

A threat to the status quo? heavily, it seems to be evolving politics at a rapidly accelerated rate. Specifically, parties seem to be doublethinking and swapping stances at a rate i've never seen. Leakers, the FBI, wars, classified materials, etc. Its like a damn game of ping pong.

A threat to our system's ability to correct itself? less so but still a threat. The erosion of checks/balances and changing of procedural issues to push through legislation is a seriously harmful thing. This could all be leading to a typifying event which unifies us or sunders us permanently.
