Of course, how could i be so stupid. Obviously murica is the best country because it had the most medals at the last Olympics

Splitting the atom, putting a man on the moon, and putting rovers on Mars is also pretty sweet.

Also keeping the free world free during the Cold War was nb as well.

Also being the first nation of people governing themselves is pretty impressive. France was close in achieving that until the Concert of Europe reestablished kings across Europe.

I don't see what you're trying to achieve here. I can list off several accomplishments of other countries as well...hell i could go all day...i'm sure even Canada has some.

How does a handful of notable achievements make the US 'the best'?

What even defines 'the best'? Olympic medals? Military power? Scientific achievements?

It's a rather silly game to be playing...all in the name of some pseudo nationalistic pride to show that murica is number juan.

Economic preeminence? Military preeminence? The domineering impact American culture has had on the globe?

Political power as exercised through organizations like NATO and the UN?

Agricultural production? Agricultural exports? The highest standard of living for a country anywhere near its size?

I mean, sure, you can nitpick and find a few small things that are better in countries that are poorer than the United States or that thrive off a world order set in place by America, but America itself is unquestionably on top.
