Do you think everyone will be in heaven?

Is this in reference to John chapter 17?

Fear is a wonderful motivator.  However, you are attributing punishment with hate and fear, not me.  I attribute the punishment of God with love.  When my parents punished me as a child, I didn't think they hated me.  I understand now (not then) that they punished me because they loved me.

Eternal punishment is not something we grasp because it's "eternal".  However, God is perfect in his holiness, justice, and righteousness.  Those who are in Christ are rewarded eternally.  Those who are not are punished eternally.

I never quite understood this. How is an eternal punishment necessary because of a finite time of... disobedience? Not really sure what word to use there.
If i might add another question. Whats the mainstream view on what happens to devout Muslims or Hindus? Or in general good people who dont believe in Jesus. When i was in church as a kid they taught that it was the same if you were a murderer or a devout Muslim, you both go to hell.

What have I noticed? All the double posters like yourself for one.

Oh and do you really care about Muslims or Hindus? I've seen this before. You try to make out that you care about "all those people" but when we dig further we find out that you are just making an excuse for not trusting God. I see it all the time. Do you give generously to all those charities and sponsor many children?

When your neighbour suffers from the effects of a flood or a cyclone, are you there lending a helping hand and doing it cheerfully? Those are just some of the questions that is asked and then we find out where the heart lies. I do not have the answer as to what happens to all of the Muslims and Hindus. I'm sure God knows where their hearts lie and they will be judged justly.

It all comes back to "Do you trust God?" Now back in the Garden, you see the results of not trusting God. I'll leave it at that.

Soooooo....question: If Jesus performed these miracles, how come it wasn't a big deal? I mean, a child born to a virgin? Who heals the sick? Who resurrects the dead? Who can turn water into wine? Who can create fish? And the Romans didn't didn't like, send more people to investigate?

It was a big deal.

the message that Jesus left us is the law of love, nothing beyond that.
any other point that comes to eternal punishment, etc ... is contradictory to what Jesus gave us.

I have some literature you should read, it's called the New Testament.

New International Version (©1984)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It appears that everyone else who doesn't believe will be going to hell.

He doesn't believe in the Father to begin with.
