The only rationalizing going on is that of the anti-Christians here trying to act as if they have found actual contradictions rather than slight nuances in detail among the Gospels.

The same could be said for hundreds of historical documents.

And nobody brings those up because we don't have a religion claiming their infallibility, but I guess if you aren't claiming that about the bible there's no problem with what they're saying.

I am claiming that the Bible is infallible.

At least five women visited the tomb: Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Salome, Mary the mother of James, and at least one other person.

None of the Gospels contradicts this fact.

Something can't really be perfect if it doesn't paint the whole picture and doesn't even bother specifying quantities. You can argue perfection all you want, but in the face of even 1 claim that doesn't synch with itself this shatters.

There are plenty of figures that don't match up, you can't ignore them because they are minor when you are claiming infallibility.

On top of that the accounts directly contradict each other on whether or not the tomb was open when they arrived. You can claim they are just leaving out details, but perfection requires the inclusion of those details.

Of course it can.

I've already destroyed the claims put forth. Have any more?

Of course, we as Muslims know that the Qur'an is the Perfect Word of God, and we know that everything in the Qur'an is correct.

Oh, well in that case, sign me up to be a Muslim.

Um, no you haven't. When russian started posting counterexamples of your shitty example that didn't exemplify the situation, you backpedaled.

Matt 28:1
Earthquake, then an Angel came down to roll the stone

Mark 16:4
Stone rolled away, and one man sitting inside the tomb

Luke 24:2-4
Stone rolled away, and two men standing outside the tomb

John 20:1,12
Stone rolled away, and two Angels inside the tomb

So, there was an earthquake, an angel came down to roll away the stone while two men stood outside and watched, and inside was a man and two angels. Yep.

Not only are the verse numbers wrong, but the verses don't even say these things.

It's like whoever wrote these objections didn't even read it.
